How to get examined
- STEP1The individual to be examined makes an appointment for an examination directly with the examining institution, then undergoes the examination as instructed by the examining institution.
- STEP2The individual pays the full cost of the examination to the examining institution up front, then submits the Gynecological Examination Subsidy Application Form with a receipt (clearly indicating the examination items) attached to the section responsible at your employer. (After receiving the application form from the section responsible at your employer, the Health Insurance Association will send the subsidy to the establishment.)
- STEP3The establishment will pay the subsidy amount.
*When undergoing a gynecological examination together with a complete check-up at a medical care institution under contract to the Health Insurance Association, pay only the copayment to the examining institution. No application is required in such cases.
